When I first joined Second Life in 2006, I immediately tried to find my own dog in Second Life. I have a Golden Retriever named Murphy, and he's the best dog I have ever known. But no one had Golden Retrievers then, so I set about making my own. I was fortunate to be able to do that, but I realize many other's don't have the same resources or opportunities that I have.

So, Penny's Pet's is offering Custom Made Dogs. Just provide me with a picture or a detailed description of your dog and I will recreate it in Second Life. In addition to the custom texturing, I will try to add any little mannerisms your dog has, and make him a collar with a tag with his name engraved on the tag. I'm putting as many animations and movements in the Custom Dogs that I can think of, with some of them being natural canine movements and some being more described as "tricks."

The cost of a custom made dog is 3000L, with half paid before I start as a "down payment." The other half with be paid upon completion. I will make the dog to your specifications, then allow you to see it, to make any suggestions or changes, and then I will animate it. After it is animated, no changes can be performed without starting completely over with the animation process.

If I believe I cannot make the dog to your specifications, the down payment will be returned and no further cost incurred.

This is something I have been doing when asked, but never had really advertised this service. But I found myself loving the challenge to make a dog just exactly like someone's beloved pet, or one they recently lost. I found that it gave me a real feeling of happiness to make someone else happy with something I had made.
