About 1 day before release Linden Labs Decided to ban gambling in second life. making 2 weeks worth of work completely useless. So What is a guy to do with his hard work? Release it ! Converted to free play, these machines DO NOT take in or pay out ANY form of payment what so ever. Insted a player presses a button to get credits and plays the game for fun. These machines are now set to make events more fun. Not only that but there is an option to give out notecards and items apon playing. these items are picked at random and do not despense on value of credits. Packed in are 10 Supplied Freebees but these items can be changed to your liking. the ability to give notecards is great for advertising events/products or whatever you want to say for that matter. The Notecards / Gifts are given at the end of a game or if the player does not play after 2 minutes when the credits are reset. Please Take a Look at what will be comming in the following days available in my store and SLexchange with the images taken of these new high quality machines listed below Jokers Wild - http://www.kcslots.com/slot1.jpgRoyal Flush - http://www.kcslots.com/slot2.jpgDiamond Quest - http://www.kcslots.com/slot3.jpgMagic Reels - http://www.kcslots.com/slot4.jpgBam!! 7s - http://www.kcslots.com/slot5.jpgSuper Super 7s - http://www.kcslots.com/slot6.jpgMega 777 - http://www.kcslots.com/slot7.jpgSlave Candy - http://www.kcslots.com/slot8.jpgMaster's Chain - http://www.kcslots.com/slot9.jpgTriple Treat - http://www.kcslots.com/slot10.jpgSpeed Limit 777 - http://www.kcslots.com/slot11.jpgIvar's Treasure - http://www.kcslots.com/slot12.jpgWarriors Gold - http://www.kcslots.com/slot13.jpgBlazing Jackpot - http://www.kcslots.com/slot14.jpgFeel Free To Ask Any Questions You Wish By Messaging Me. This is a good idea. I think I'll probably do the same thing.
Why not? We all have nothing to lose.. it's not like these machines are doing anything else in our inventory.

ok.. then my question will be. Do you feel that this item would be effective as a Event Item? or am i wasting my time?
BTW there will be a revamp version of Deal or Decline as well which will offer the same thing.

If I still had a venue for events - I wouldnt risk being AR'd by having even fake gambling devices in it.
And you cant advertize products in this Forum - theres a section to do so however.

What a great idea for non-gambling gambling machines! Good work. I just hope LL realizes that they aren't real gambling machines and doesn't just delete them and ban you for it.

Oh grow some balls Colette, you're one of the last people I'd have thought who would have a position like that.

From: Ciaran Laval Oh grow some balls Colette, you're one of the last people I'd have thought who would have a position like that. Thats my personal opinion - I dont like to invite "AR me please" drama. I was refering to what I wouldnt do. I dont think fake casino games shouldnt be allowed. I just have my doubts that many visiting would realize they were not pay to play games. Murphy's law , etc. After this controversy dies down - It would make more sense to use fake non-wagering Casino games probably. ------------- On a side note: Ive always found the "grow some balls" expression really stupid - What is it supposed to mean? Someone must emulate a man to have courage? Men are somehow braver than women?

No you're right, I apoligise, but like people Ar'ing child AV's when they're doing nothing wrong, I think fake machines are not an issue and you're a gutsy lady, I was just surprised to see you take that stance but yes, avoiding drama is a good option. I see what you are saying. You make a great point- Dont give in to paranoia. As well as standing up and saying you arent breaking any rules. -------------------------------- A thought though - I feel comfortable speaking my mind here becuase I know the res mods have reasonably good judgement most of the time and if I get Ar'd they at least know of me from years posting. With so many people on Second Life - I have NO idea how rational everyone is going to be. I also dont know which Linden would handle my AR. Might go back to wishing theyd be more clear? All we have so far is encouragement to turn in your neighbors. We could use a Blog Post "Stop and think before you AR" perhaps.

Well I think a blog post about "Stop and think" would be useful. I don't envy the task Strife has here and I think he or she does a good job most of the time. Sometimes I disagree with the threads they lock but it's a position I don't envy them being in.

From: Lord Steadham This is a resident answers forum. Or at least it used to be... Well there are at least Six Threads ASKING what people can do about the Gambling Ban, i think this Qualifies as an ANSWER, even if the OP chose to place it in it's own Thread for simplicity's sake. This sounds like a Good idea to me. Angel.

From: Kain Cleaver Converted to free play, these machines DO NOT take in or pay out ANY form of payment what so ever. Are you planning on making a version that does pay out? As long as the residents don't pay the slots to play, they can pay out. Sorta the equivalent of a 5000 L$ poker freeroll, which doesn't violate the TOS in any way.
