Following some recent events that lead to the closure of a very well known Club in SL I had a little think and looked at a solution to a problem that seems to effect many in SL and cause great concern and upset. Being a club owner myself I was also alarmed, shocked and very disappointed in what seems to have occured. The result was this:

A Club Watch Scheme.

The fundamentals are very simple

Banned from one. Banned from All

Taken from the lead of national pub watch scheme in the UK

This is a group for club owners to communicate and defend against Griefers who may be targeting or causing issues at their premises.

Also a place for Club Owners to forge relations, discuss business, marketing, promotion, seek help or advice and endevour to maintain good practice.

Benefits of membership include:

Detering troublemakers.

Reduces the risk of griefing attacks on owners, staff & customers.

Reduces the risk of damage to property and malicious littering.

Increases co-operation between club owners leading to a more effective response to requests for assistance from Linden Labs.

Access to discussion and solution of problems relating to managing a club in Second Life.

Delivers Peace of mind.

I trust that this will endevour to support and strengthen the music community in Second Life through co-operation and communication.

Membership is invitation only and open to owners only. Please pass this note card to anyone who may benifit from membership of this group or would like to join and help support, strengthen and bring valuable knowledge and experience to the group.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post and have a fantastic day.

Much Love & Respect

Hostage Ballinger
Club Watch Chairman
