The best scripted sound emitters in SL have been updated with several new features and enhancements. These background sound emitters play an average of 1 to 3 minutes before looping and help to create an immersive environment for your land and projects. Over 800 different themed Gen2 looping orbs are now available.
Features
Day/Night - All Gen2 Atmosphere Orbs now enable the owner to specify the desired playback style.
Day Only - Audio only plays during the day.
Night Only - Audio only plays during the night.
Both - Audio plays constantly.
3D Hard Cut-Off - Restrict audio to a three dimensional area.
Keep your sounds inside or outside desired areas or even desired elevations!
Adjustable Range - Extend the maximum audible distance.
Audible range is different than maximum volume. All avatars “hear” audio differently due to system settings and Second Life client preferences. The range here refers to the avatar’s ability to hear audio “off in the distance” versus just stopping.
Owner and Group Access - This allows owners to give group members the ability to change the volume, range, and cut off settings.
Appearance Control - Orb appearance can be changed from visible (solid) to cloaked (hidden) for easy placement.
Upgradeable - Future code enhancements can be imported into the Gen2 orbs.
In-Prim Deployable - Save your prim counts by moving the Orb script and sounds into your own objects.
Range, Appearance, and Upgrade features are disabled when in-prim setup is used.
Volume Control - Raise or lower the audible volume at any time.
All controls are accessed through an easy pop-up menu interface.
