Host your own Treasure Hunt with this easy-to-setup yet fully customizable treasure hunt system!

Key Features:

* Easy Setup. You'll be hosting your treasure hunt in no time!
* Customizable. Use the included treasure chest and treasure objects or put the scripts into your own objects.
* Menu Operation. A popup menu lets you reset the hunt, delete treasure objects, test the sytem, view participants and winners.
* Simple Notecard Configuration. Enter object name, number of treasure objects hidden, and communications channel (if you choose to change it) and you're ready to go!
* Several Prize Options. Put one prize or many in the chest, and optionally you may add prizes to the treasure objects too.
* Sounds and Particles. When someone clicks a treasure object to claim it, a sound plays and a particle burst occurs. When the final prize is claimed from the treasure chest, a "prize win" sound plays and particles poof. Use the included sound and particle texture for the chest or add your own.
* Notecard Configurable Treasure Objects. Optionally you can adjust vanish time, minimum distance, and communication channel (in case you wish to use more than one Treasure Hunt System in the same sim).
* Many Themed Objects. A good selection of holiday, seasonal and some miscellaneous themed treasure chests and treasure objects complete the package.


How it Works
Place a Treasure Chest in a prominent place on your land and put a prize in it. Then place Treasure Objects at various locations for treasure hunters to find. When they find and click a Treasure Object that they haven't clicked before they'll receive confirmation that they've found a treasure object, and how many more they need to find. Once they've found all the treasure objects, they must return to within 10m of the Treasure Chest and click it to receive the prize (or prizes) in a folder with the same name as the Treasure Chest (you can rename the Treasure Chest object to anything you like).

In addition to the main prize in the Treasure Chest, if you wish you can put a single prize, plus one or more notecards, into each Treasure Object's contents (non-prim objects must be boxed, e,g., skins, textures, LMs, non-prim clothes, etc.) . When clicked, the treasure hunter will get that prize object and any notecards found. Then put the BIG prize into the Treasure Chest itself. For ease of distribution, landmarks should be put into notecards.


Quick Setup Instructions


1. Rez the the Treasure Chest object named "Wooden Treasure Chest" from the Fnordian Treasure Hunt folder.
2. Change the the number of Treasure Objects in the Config notecard to the number that treasure hunters must find.
3. Place one or more prizes in the Treasure Chest (Note: textures, scripts and sounds must first be boxed).
4. Place the Treasure Objects (e.g., Treasure Keys) on your land wherever you want treasure hunters to find them.
5. Click the Wooden Treasure Chest and reset the Treasure Hunt from the menu that appears.


Repeat step 5 at any time to clear all currently stored treasure hunter names and "number of treasure objects found" information, and restart the hunt.
