This vendor is targeting business owners that are managing anywhere from 2 to any amount of vendors, I know what its like to have to manually walk around and update vendors that are located all around SL.
So.. How does this vendor address that? Well upon starting the vendor server you are prompted to enter a unique ID e.g. (Iamamazing) something easy to remember, once you have met the requirements and filled the item notecard in the server, the server will then connect to an out of world database and begin to store your information.
That sounds complicated
... No, all of the complication is held within the script and is not put upon the customer, all you need to do is rez the vendor which will then prompt you to enter the unique identifier of the server, once you have done that it will query the database for items related to your server and start displaying them.The best part of this system is the delivery system, not only can you allow people to gift an item to someone, it is all delivered from a server! None of the vendors carry the objects it is all stored centrally and delivered from the server, the delivery section also has checks in place to make sure that the server is sending items properly or to shut off if the link between the two is broken.
