The Cataporter(TM) is a precisely engineered, innovatively designed, trebuchet style catapult ready to fling your guests gracelessly across the landscape to deposit them with a gentle splat within meters of their destination. Unlike other SL catapults, the Cataporter(TM) is capable of reading locations and coordinates from a notecard and calculating the precise angle and velocity necessary to reach the target, at distances of more than 300 meters away and that cross sim borders. You can also enter in your own angles and velocities for more free exploration.
Additionally, the Cataporter(TM) is fully copyable. Should you wish to reach a destination beyond regular throwing distance, or have to maneuver around obstacles such as walls or ban lines, and second Cataporter(TM) can be placed as a waypoint.
With the Cataporter, the sky, literally, is the limit!
(That said, let me warn you that the Cataporter works best when the destination elevation is somewhat close to the starting elevation. Small hills and valleys are fine, but don't expect to be able send yourself up to your sky platform. Not yet, anyway.
