PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
WHAT IT IS: The FALTA Halo&Horns is a LSL scripted communication improvement device (see command list for functions)
It allows your avatar to have new communication skills.
The device is fully customizable by commands.
HOW IT APPEARS: The device is a ringed halo plus a couple of little horns.
You can hide the halo, the horns, both or none with runtime commands: no need to detach/attach.
HOW DO YOU USE IT: The device is usually worn attached to the avatar chin
but can also be put in any place an object can be rezzed.
The device can be made completely transparent (invisible).
HOW YOU OPERATE IT: Once rezzed or worn, the device is controlled by chat commands (on channel 7
plus another channel (configurable)).This means it responds to chat messages issued on default chat channel.
All command have a common sintax:
/7 command option(s)
i.e. changing the displayed text is obtained saying "/7 mess Your new message" on public chat
The device listens to public chat so you must be in chat range to control it, eventually shouting.
HOW YOU CUSTOMIZE IT: All aspects of the device (colors, transparency and content)
can be changed at runtime with chat commands without having to detach the device.
This means you can always wear it: the device appearance, as its functions, is fully
chat controlled. Don't detach it: simply hide it with the hide command!
NO SCRIPT REGIONS USAGE: Being a scripted object, the device needs scripts to be enabled but partly works
also where script running is not allowed.
In these cases preset the device (text, color and so on) BEFORE entering the no-script-run region:
the device will still work, even if in a static mode. I.E. you can set colors, apperance,
displayed text and even fireworks and have them available in the no script region.
Just you will not be able to change these features when there.
KNOWN PROBLEMS: None.
Nevertheless, the device has automatic features to reset communications on teleport and on owner change.
If in any case you shold have problems ISSUE A "ALLRESET" COMMAND.
That shouldn't be necessary, anyway....

HOW TO HAVE FUN WITH THE FALTA HALO&HORNS
The following are just some ideas based on the experience of Pepin Falta,
who designed and developed the FALTA Halo&Horns and who wears it at all times.
1) Use the overhead text to display your mood (see the Falta Useless website for a specific
product: The FALTA MoodDisplay), to share your favourite quotation, to promote your business and so on

2) Display the Halo or the Horns or both to show your mood
hint: use the device and the evil commands
Pepin's advice: everyone's an angel AND a devil, isn't it?
3) Use the device to speak anonymously: The device is really anonymous: it hides the speaking device name!
hint: use the say / shout and whisper commands
Pepin's advice: It's a lot of fun to speak to a girl and to pull your legs (or hers) commenting "a la Groucho Marx"
4) Read automatically. Put a notecard in the Halo&Horns and let it read it line by line
hint: use the command read
Pepin's advice: this is my favourite: reading my speeches in public or reading romantic poems
to my beloved one.
5) control animations: put your favourite animations and fire them at a glance
hint: use the ani and stop animations
Pepin's advice: I think you can guess my favourite animations...
6) Color your life: shoot fireworks of your favourite soccer team or any color
hint: use the boom and team commands
Pepin's advice: to color the virtual Genoa with my team's colors (Sampdoria) is a dream come true!

PRODUCT VERSIONS AND FEATURES LIST
The product comes in three different versions (BASIC, DELUXE and PREMIUM)
with different sets of commands enabled as follows:
The BASIC VERSION can/allows to:
- be reset
- switched on a different communication channel
- display command list (help)
- be made completely invisible
- display an overhead text, changeable, of course
- change its displayed text color
- hide the device itself
- change the aureola inner part color and transparency
- speak anonymously
The DELUXE VERSION can/allows to:
- ALL BASIC version functions plus:
- whisper and shout anonymously
- change the displayed text alternate color
- blink displayed text
- set the displayed text transparency
- display advertising message
The PREMIUM VERSION can/allows to:
- ALL BASIC version functions plus
- ALL DELUXE version functions plus:
- shoot color configurable fireworks with predefined color sets for all
italian SerieA soccer teams
- switch the device shape (aureola, horns or both)
- switch light emission on and off
- read out and display overhead the content of notecards
(notecards must be put in the device inventory)
- start / stop animations (animations not provided)

GROUP FUNCTIONS
All enabled commands, with the prefix "all" are issued to all the devices in range
and not only to those owned by the issuing avatar.
I.E. "/7allreset" resets all devices in range while "/7 reset" resets only those
owned by the issuing avatar (attached or not)

PRODUCT USAGE
1) Rez the device or wear/attach it (usually on chin)
2) Issue commands (see command list further down, speaking in PUBLIC chat (the default Second life chat,that is channel 0)
3) That's it: the Device runs the command, giving you a private command acknowlede.
If the command was wrong the device displays the help (all commands) and gives you
a new copy of the User Manual notecard / this notecard)
Note that ALL COMMANDS ARE CASE SENSITIVE: always use lower case!
As said, issue a ALLRESET command if in trouble.
