Your real-world mobile number stays secret! All messages are routed using avatar names.
One-off network registration costs L$50, then buy a headset for L$100. Incoming messages are FREE, and outgoing messages cost L$10 each.
I've used this to keep in touch with residents on my estate. It's handy if a griefer comes along because a resident just sends an SMS and I get it wherever I am in the real world. I can then log in and sort things out.
