but the CrabbyCrab uses no megaprims. Still, it's over 60 meters in diameter and establishes a striking and commanding presence wherever it is rezzed. And yes, it's a vehicle, you can fly it around.
To fly the CrabbyCrab:
1. Turn off your AO.
2. Find the folder called CrabbyCrab v3 in your inventory, select it and rightclick->Wear it. The pieces of the vehicle should automatically rez and attach to your AV.
3. If your camera viewpoint does not shift to a point just behind your head, try hitting the ESC key a few times.
Also included is a Gesture called crabspin. Activate it and press F2 (default) and make the CrabbyCrab do a little spin.
Press up-arrow and down-arrow simultaneously to bring up a dialog menu.. From the dialog, you may:
- Fold / unfold the vehicle's "legs"
- Change highlight colors
- Toggle your camera viewpoint from "forward" to "overhead". "Overhead" can be handy for landing. Also:
Press left-arrow and right-arrow simultaneously to toggle between "forward" and "overhead" views.
Note that the CrabbyCrab does not contain any kind of flight assist, so if you want to ascend above 200 meters, you'll need such a thing. Flight assists are commonly available as freebies from many, many places, but if you get stuck finding one, IM me direct and I'll set you up.
