I'm baaaaack. It seems that while one can keep the girl out of the shop, one can't keep the shop out of the girl, so I kept tinkering and cobbling things together and before I knew it I had an entire air force of new planes and air ships.

Here's the first, the Supermarine S.6B:

The S.6B was built by the Supermarine company in cooperation with Rolls Royce in 1930 specifically to compete in the prestigious "Coupe d'Aviation Maritime Jacques Schneider" more commonly know as the Schneider Trophy.

The RL S.6B not only won what turned out to be the last Schneider Trophy race, it's also the first aircraft to reach a speed of 400 MPH, and the forerunner of the RAF Spitfire.

You can read up on the real S.6B on Wikipedia at .

The MIM version can be found here on XStreet at or if you'd like to take a look at one in "person", or want to try her out, visit my shop at .
