Opening soon will be a new sim for all mecha lovers in SL, called BattleTech 3120. BattleTech 3120 is a roleplay sim (RP) based on the famous BattleTech comic series created in 1984 that focused on giant semi-humanoid robots fighting each other in a field of combat. The sim will include some of the more famous aspects of BattleTech, such as the Clans and Houses, that will battle each other for the role of leader of the universe. The background of BattleTech's fictional history covers the approximately 1150 years from the end of the 20th century to the middle of the 32nd. There is primarily no other known forms of life in the BattleTech series, other than humans. The humans within the series created a world where its based on a feudal system, i.e. Clans, and has similar aspects of other science fiction series, such as Frank Hubert's Dune or Joss Whedon's Firefly (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BattleTech).
Mecha lovers traditionally in SL, have had little places to go for a good roleplay experience. This sim was created to relieve some of that missing element in SL for them by sim owner Xxander Snook. For additional information, please contact Xxander Snook.
