Greenlaners have now released their newest vehicle, the MAZ 543. Incase you don't know of this truck, it was first made in the '60s in Belarus (former part of the USSR) and was designed as a very heavy hauler. They made versions of this for many purposes such as drilling rigs for oil exploration in remote areas, airport fire trucks, SCUD missile launchers, cranes, quarry dumper trucks, container carriers at major ports and also various special builds, with multi axle versions made for carrying huge refinery parts to remote areas. They had a massive 38.8 Litre V12 quad valve diesel engine, which used a compressed air starter (common with ships and aircraft), and were able to operate in almost any climate and conditions.
For my first version I have made this relatively simple military hauler version and am in process of developing a SCUD launcher version too. A version such as this would have been used for artillery support, with a load capacity of 22 tonnes. My SL version is slightly over-scale to account for the abundance of abnormal giants here in SL (13m long, rather than the 11.5m which the RL version like this would be), so it is rather huge! But that is nothing compared to some of the RL versions they made, with 20 axle ones being made for the oil industry (thats 40 wheels! I soooo wish I could make one like that for SL lol).
