Many products in Second Life can be controlled by speaking commands in chat or on a dedicated channel. That is fine as long as you can remember the commands and the channel, although it can become a bit of a nuisance to have to type the same commands over and over again. And there are also standard texts in normal chat your find yourself typing over and over again.
Let's face it: Some people like to type, others prefer to click buttons. Isn't it much cooler to be able to click a button to switch on a light than to have to type "/1 light on"? Isn't it much easier to click a button than to have to say: "Welcome to my club, freebies are on the left, dance floor is to the right." dozens of times each evening?
The Universal Control Button is your solution: It is a simple button you can click to say or shout any text you want on the channel you choose. Except for the script itself it is fully modifyable to make it look just the way you want. Also you can make as many copies as you like to speak different texts and control different appliances at the touch of a button.
At a price of L$ 20 every house in SL can offord one (and many copies). The only limit to the possibilities is your imagination!
