Hosoi Ichiba is very proud to announce a small yet beautiful addition to our product line. These are Chōchin ( 提灯 ), the traditional Japanese floating lights originally used for the ceremony of Tōrō nagashi ( 灯籠流し ), performed on the last night of the Obon ( お盆 ) festival.
Our product consists of a set of lights that float serenely in a circular pattern. Obviously they look best when rezzed on a body of water. They are transferable, so could make an interesting gift for a friend. They use the new Windlight "glow" property. Please visit our blog at http://hosoi-ichiba.blogspot.com/ for more details, or visit the Ichiba at http://slurl.com/secondlife/Virgin%20Island/107/39/34/ to see them, out on the ocean by the Torii.
Hosoi Ichiba is a traditional asian market set in a serene island setting. We sell japanese, chinese and other east-asian furniture, buildings, artwork and interior design elements. The products are detail-oriented and aim to be of the highest quality. Subscribe to our open "Hosoi Ichiba" group for new announcements, or visit our Blog.
