This series was inspired by a customer with a super-small lot who needed a small, low-prim house for it. Each cottage in the series can be used on a small lot as the main home, or as a guest cottage on a larger estate. Each appears first as a Freebie of the Month, then goes on sale.
The script for the shutters and the door of Beachside Cottage are courtesy of Flame Swenholt. (Because of this special script, the shutters and the door do not lock on this cottage, and are not linked to the house.)
PRIM COUNT: This house has more prims than the average ‘Lil Cottage, depending on which version you decide to put out.
In your box are two versions with decks, and two without; as well as a choice of short steps or long steps for each. For the short-step versions, you sink the cottage into the ground. Using the long-step versions will give you a house that is higher off the ground. (Also included in your box is a cottage-only version, if you want to skip the steps altogether.)

Note: The deck versions will place out two floor lamps and five porch lamps when the home is rezzed. The no-deck versions place just one of each. (The cottage-only version places out none of the accessories, but there are extra copies of them included in the box for your convenience.)
All the freebies are copy/mod and separate from the house, so they can be easily moved or removed. But they will be set out when the house is first rezzed (except for the cottage-only version), which will bring the total of prims that will be rezzed to:

TO SET UP YOUR HOME: Just take the box out of your inventory, and put it on the ground. Drag the version of "Beachside Cottage in Rez-Faux" you want from the "Contents" tab in "Edit" to your inventory, and then to the ground. Then "touch" this little yellow box, click "Help," and follow the easy "Instructions for Buyers" inside.
***Very Important!* ** Be sure the shutters are all closed when you turn your house by turning the Rez-Faux box. The shutters and door are not linked to the house. They will turn properly when you turn the Rez-Faux box only if they are closed!
(If you should turn the house later, without using the Rez-Faux box to do it, make sure the shutters are all closed and that you have selected all of them, and the door, before you turn your house.)
ABOUT THE DECK CHAIRS: If you want to put out extra chairs, take a copy of one, and then set it out from your inventory. The chairs contain sit scripts, and if you try to drag off a copy, you will lose the sit script.
