Ainee Kohime is proud to announce the creation of her new Borghese Villa, all unique new textures created especially.

The Borghese Villa in Rome was built around 1620 in parkland, to contain and display the sculpture and artworks collected by Cardinal Scipione, nephew of Pope Paul V. Built in accordance with the suburban architectural model of the Classical Age, the villa was conceived as a microcosm of every form of art. A private residence and diplomatic seat, it was also a showcase for the finest artists of Classical Rome. Fourteen delightful rooms await your appreciation in Second Life.
The four outer courtyards have cypress trees in sculpted pots. Four charming Pavilions provide private spaces. Open loggias with comfortable golden cushions are decorated with luminous frescos of gardens, each one different. Lovely double entrance doors lead into a magnificent double height entrance hall with marble staircase. A suite of exquisite rooms open into two large reception rooms, with doors to the gardens. Upstairs, the Long Gallery for Balls and Receptions opens into two gracious Bedrooms. Every room has a flickering fireplace and glittering chandeliers installed, together with flickering candlelit wall sconces to give a magical effect at night. Stately columns lining the façade are especially stunning at sunset.
Sensual artworks by Titian, Caravaggio, Boucher and Bernini are included, together with the spectacular ceiling of the Sistine Chapel by Michaelangelo. Every room has a fabulous Trompe l’oeil ceiling, painted by artists Hamilton, Conca, Gagneraux and Pechaux, under the supervision of Architect Antonio Asprucci. Wall panelling to complement each ceiling is studded with gem-like framed Art. Precious polychrome marbles, gilded friezes and peperino fireplaces adorn the walls. Pompeiian mosaics and fine parquets cover the floors, which are strewn with superb Aubusson and Baroque carpets to complement the décor.
Exquisite low-prim Baroque and Rococo furnishings can be found in Ainee’s many galleries and shops. The Villa is easy to rez using the rex-faux system. No megaprims are used, making the Villa legitimate for Mainland use.
