My name is Rachel Boram and I have a discreet little shop by the name of Serendipity.
I could just say retro and be done with it. There are two types of retro as I see it.
The bold, flashy, fun kind of reto furniture which is lots of fun to make. Imagine the movies Grease or Hairspray.
Then there is the understated, elegant, beautifully crafted and textured retro. Something you might see in an old movie. As I do these, you will find dates and the name of the original designer in their description. I have been leaning toward this look lately.
At this time I am focusing on the
1930s - 1970s.
