Little Nageena (meaning "Pearl";) is now open and features the original art of contempary African artists from Belgium and Senegal.

Rich in colors and vibrancy that has an underlying feeling of hope despite the pain and struggles of recent events there.

The artists express everything from the history of slavery to modern themes of isolation and loss. Experiementing in textures and styles.

ABDOULAYE NDIAYE
Born in 1936 in Sam, (Tivaouane). He is a multi-functional artist. Not only does he paint and make sculptures, he is also an actor and a singer.

OUSMANE SY,
Born in 1952, he was 8 years old when the Senegal became independent.
At the age of 23 he started art school in Thiès. In 1981 he exhibited in Dakar, and the succes of this exposition convinced him to continue. He has been exhibited in Germany (Hanau, Lüdenscheid, Solingen), in France (Paris), in Belgium.
His work shows his vision on religion, tradition and social relations.

SOULEYMANE NDIONE
Born in 1966, worked at the museum of Thiès where he mostly did reverse glass paintings. In 1997 he came to Belgium and continued to develop his own style. He uses brushs, etchings, oils, and pencil.
