Hosoi Ichiba, provider of high quality asian art, architecture and artifacts, would like to announce the availability of Koinobori at the Ichiba!

Koinobori are the carp-decorated banners that are flown above Japanese houses to celebrate their children. These colourful windsocks would make a bright addition to any japanese-styled home.

Originally the Koinobori were part of the colourful parade that a Samurai would take with him into battle - brightly-coloured streamers. The carp was a symbol of courage and strength.
