SKIN 2.0 "Options" is a tintable skin in 3 base tones that can be modified to produce a range of skin colours. It features the body detailing of SKIN 2.0 with some subtle improvements and a different range of makeup. You may edit the base tones of light, medium, and dark via the Appearance Mode sliders.
MAKEUP
It is possible to modify the lip colour to some degree, and add makeup via the sliders provided within Appearance Mode. However, the makeup sliders offer a clunky and rather unattractive range of looks. Thankfully, I've designed 12 makeup choices as a start for "Options".
Light/neutral makeup options provide looks that don't detract from your avatar's natual beauty. The light/neutral makeup pack features:
"Nude" - virtually makeupless, similar to the existing "Nude" makeup for 2.0
"Peach" - a light dusting of a warm toned peach matte eyeshadow and blush with semi-sheer gloss lips
"Girly" - dramatic black eyeliner with pink glitter cheek dust and pink semi-sheer gloss lips
"Earth" - brown lined matte lips, with subtle brown eyeshadow and liner with a very light dusting of blush
Heavy/dramatic makeup options allow your avatar to stand out from the crowd, without being trashy. These looks are high fashion or evening makeup. The heavy/dramatic pack includes:
"Drama" - based on "Fatale" in the original series. Black matte smokey eyeshadow, a swipe of blush on the cheekbones, and burgundy cream lipstick
"Retro" - based on "Classic" in the original series. Vibrant warm red gloss lips, generous blush, black "cat's eye" liner, sheer silver shimmer eyeshadow
"Bruise" - Ultra smokey eyes in a subdued teal/black combo, nude cheeks, and brown gloss lips
"Fey" - Blue glitter lids, glitter cheekbones, and a touch of gloss on nude lips
Summer 2007 makeup options are based on the current makeup trends within First Life(TM) for the season. This summer is all about colour, especially rich tones like fuscia, turquoise, and orange. There's still ubiquitious bronzer but it's now creamier than in the past and blends more naturally. Summer 2007 makeup includes:
"Mermaid" - lime and blue matte blended eyeshadow, pink dusting on cheeks, pink gloss lips
"Bronzed" - the ultimate sun-kissed look with shimmery bronzed cheekbones, eyelids, and a frosted brown lipstick
"Sunset" - bright pink and black smoked eyeshadow with vibrant orange cheeks and pink matte lipstick
"Club" - turquoise liner on upper lids only, pink dusting on cheeks, fuschia cream lipstick
