I've just introduced the Classic gentlemen's evening wear - equally at home in Eaton Square, the Waldorf, Harajuku or Transylvania.
There are plenty of 'tuxedos' in Second Life, but let's face it, most of them look as if they've been slept in. And let's not even mention the bow ties. So, if you're tired of going to the ball looking like Charlie Chaplin, here is the definitive gentleman's outfit:
Tailcoat - black, painstakingly authentic in its details, beautifully scaled buttons, finely edged lapels, elegantly draped tails
Waistcoats - in four colours, white, cream, grey and black, fine lapels and deeply cut, with matching satin back
Shirts - brilliant white, one with a pique bow tie, the other tie-less for wear with or without a prim tie, French cuffs, cuff links that match the buttons, tucks and creases
Bow Tie - prim tie in white shot silk
Gloves - cream, buttoned, finely detailed crimping on the backs, essential for the opera and the ball
Scarf - fine white shot silk with flexi-prim tassles, for those moments between carriage and door
What else would the Classic gentleman require? Only black trousers, cane, shoes, top hat and perhaps an overcoat or cape. Watch this space for developments.
The Classic range should soon be available at SLBoutique http://www.slboutique.com/Mako_Magellan
