New this week @ Tekeli-li! dark artistry, the Shaitan boots were inspired by a rather unusual source. I'm a huge fan of Frank Herbert's masterpiece "Dune", and somehow, the described form of his now-iconic sandworms ended up inspiring the design. Thus, the segemented forms and spike-like tooth shapes incorporated in the design, and the name, an ancient Hebrew name for Satan which the Fremen culture of Dune used as one of their names for the monstrous sandworms. But they're in no way desert boots, and work for a fantasy look as well as a scifi one.
These boots are designed as unisex, with a strong masculine design, but with colorchange in 3 sections can take on a whole new look and feel. Both male and female sizes are included, and they are copy/mod as well to allow for size adjustment if necessary for those who might want to leave their foot size larger than 0.
