Actually, a couple other SL players and I built a large game called Pet Trap a few years ago for the Second Life First Annual Game Developers Contest - it resided on 1/4 island, and involved a giant evil maze, and the vet clinic and the home of Dr. Annie Maul, who went crazy after her kitten, Mr. Skibbles, met an untimely demise. Ghost pets (including a ghost cat) were given to players in the pet cemetery at the end of the game. I saved all the objects and scripts for it, and think that someday I'd like to set it up again, only improved since we only had 2 months to pull the game together.
Probably a little grimmer than you had in mind, but it actually was cute and a lot of fun _____________________
