now that slots are gone ?

i was wondering about those talanted slot machine makers that poured time and energy into some of the slots that i had seen. it seems to me that with a bit of tweeking that those old slots could be turned into actual nonslot games. like oh the streets slots that i had seen about in a few places. a 2 player game would be great. i am sure that there are other games as well that could be turned into 2 or more player games with a bit of work. anyone takeing up the challange to change with the times ?
