Minerva - GO LIVE Saturday 10th September

We have a 5000L$ (five thousend L$) give away this weekend! You will need a backpack to play (get it at the shop when you TP in to Minerva 250L$).

We're going to have 2 quests Saturday and Sunday each will result in 1 winner who will get the first Weapon Makers!

Also I'm paying 5L$ for every PIG IRON sold to me (buying at the trading floor). So any newbs looking for money, here is an easy way!

We are go... only problem was lack of maps! but that will come....

Our first weapon maker has been given out, and we await at what prices Silver Sunset sets the weapons, but he has alot of work to do to get all the stuff needed to make the weapons..

But our winner was Tobius Marat who completed the task in just over 2 hours decided to take the money and run!

come one come all... two villages are desperate for goods, so get in the game now and get lots of gold before the prices drop!

So people can fight and defeat other players and steal their stuff in Minerva?

If that's true it sounds like a haven for griefers.

Well I was finely able to complete the quest today even if late...

Only problems I had was the venders on the main land all located in high lag area...
took me nearly an 30 to to reach the locations 1 step at a time even if flying...

Im hopeing with 1.7's new method of loading that this will not be a problem but knowing how Preview is Main grid will be the ultimate test for it.

Tex, some people had no problems, some people had loads of problems.. so yeah I think we all hope 1.7 slows the grids down to a perfect level...hoping its not minerva cause the lag.. LOL

Most of the Minervan items found on the main grid are found on the island of Minerva, those that are not just now, and if 1.7 don't sort the problem, then I will move the items on to the private island.

Anyone have a spare private island! LOL if your not using it...

but well done on completing the task... keep an eye on the events board for the next quest! To win a shield maker!

This weekends task for Minervan's is a guild game!

All members choose a guild to join (please join the SL Group before trying to take part and of course have a Minerva Backpack).

And then collect as much items as possible, dropping them at the guild! You will be awared points for each item you donate (notice of the points will be given on Saturday before the game starts)


The guild with the most number of points wins the 3,000L$

That 3,000L$ will then be spilt between the players by using the points they have donated to the group..

i.e. The Magic Guild win with 1000 points , there are 5 members of the Magic Guild but only 3 people deposited anything worth points player A put in 500 points worth of items, player B put in 300 points and player C put in 200 points...
Player A gets 1,500L$
Player B gets 900L$
Player C gets 600L$
the other 2 players, who never donated don't get any points! But each member of the guild will get 1 Skill Points

Simple? I hope so......More details will be published on Saturday in Minerva

ok.... so get the guild storage working, get the shield maker working, set up this weekends task.... the life of a SL game maker is never ending!

New machine to give away will be a shield maker... This will go to the highest points scored by an individual (no matter if they are in a losing guild) (just made this up? does it sound fair?)...

Also (so to stop spamming this board) does anyone know how to get a group forum?

Just FYI the shield maker is not entirely working properly from what I have seen
on the 3 accounts I have attempted to make a Joust shield I was only able to make 1... the first time.
Something is preventing the XML to give a shield past the first one
