Second Life Dreamers win opening match

The Second Life Dreamers Pitch and Putt team, playing in the World Interclub League competition, enjoyed success in their opening game of the season with a convincing win over the Tokyo Typhoons Pitch and Putt club.

Led by a record breaking performance by star player Getme Somme, who blasted a 6 under par 48 on the Holly Kai course, the Dreamers greater consistency paid off and they put together a team score of 199 against the Typhoons 242.

The Dreamers team was a couple of players short, which doesnt hurt in this format, but saw very good performance all around with Space Zehetbauer bringing home a 50, Alice Masala a 51 and the pair of Salsa Desade and Erik Zapedzki blasted a 50.

With the Dreamers debut attracting attention in golf magazines in Europe, it was a fantastic start to this new SL adventure and a great moral boost for the newly formed Second Life Pitch and Putt Association, who the Dreamers represent.

More players have indicated they would like to play in the Round 2 game, which is played over the 1st weekend of September, anyone interested should IM Space Zehetbauer or Salsa Desade.

Next up, the Dreamers face the Dubai Sand Scrapers Pitch and Putt team, and this looks like being the toughness match of the competition.
