Prologue: In the beginning there was SG-1. I am basing this loosely on the time period somewhere when General Hammond was in command.
This is just a brainstorming on paper basically. Don't think that these are limited to what's there, nor requred to include what's there. Its just some ideas
FIRST WE HAVE THE RACES:
AV's will be available to play whichever race you choose.
HUMAN
JAFFA
TOK'RA
TOLLAN
ASGARD
GOA"ULD
UNAS
Etc.
NEXT WE HAVE THE CLASSES:
WARRIOR
ARCHEOLOGIST
MEDICAL
HISTORIAN
ASTRO PHYSICIST
DIPLOMAT
Again, just some ideas thrown out there.
RACES AND CLASSES: What do they mean?
Just like in pen and paper RP you have different class/race bonuses to your stats. Your stats will be shown in a HUD and will determine several things.
STRENGTH: When there is a feat of strength to be done the GM will assign a wieght to the object to be lifted or moved. This wieght will determine if the character can move it. The difference is the wieght will already be placed on the objects script so that when a character that doesn't have a high enough strenghth tries to move it the script won't let them.
DEXTERITY: Your dexterity stat will improve your abilitiy to fire weapons/use hand weapons by altering the script to be more precise as the stat goes up. It will also determine dodge/parry. If someone hauls off and smacks you in the lip the script will calculate the stats automatically and deduct hit points if you got smacked or tell you that you were fast enough to duck.
CONSTITUTION: This will determine your Hit Points. These go down realistically when you get hit with a bullet, smacked in the jaw, go without food/water. etc. Again, all on a HUD.
INTELLIGENCE QUOTIENT: This determines you're permanant potential for learning, although it may be altered (such as when Jack was inbued with all that knowlegde from the asgards) I don't know how this will come into play yet.
MEMORY: This is how good your memory is. The GM will use a script to determine a dice roll telling the character if, and how much they remember of a certain thing. "You remember that it is from the Mayan culture, but your not sure what the symbol means" or something along those lines.
HIT POINTS: When you lose hit points it shows on your HUD and certain things happen as you lost them.
1) If you are shot you'll likely lost at least 1/4 of your points. If the wound goes untreated (scripts control this after applying "bandages"

If you lose too many hit points an animation will slow you down considerably. If you die..you'll have to come back as someone else..
GEAR:
Rifles: Scripted to give light, use scope, and take damage points off of the "victim"
Binoculars: Scripted to work
Zat's: Stuns the victim with a script
MRE's/Food: makes you not lost health points
Hand Device: Push script or heal
Sarcophagus: Resurrections. Heals damaged hit points
Flashlights: Scripted to work
Radios: Talk in group chat for your team
Stargates: Go thru. right click on prim to tp to that particular location
DHD's. You must actually punch in the correct combination of symbols
SLEEPING: If you don't sleep a script will force you to fall asleep after a while. Depends on stats. You can be woken up from this forced sleep, but the longer you go without it the harder it is to stay awake.
There are a lot more obviously. Just some ideas.
CAMPAIGN:
Just as an example ( we won't really be using episodes for campaigns) lets use an episode to depict how a typical campaign would work.
Lets use season one episode three..Emanicipation..everyone should know that one. Its the people of the steppe episode where carter is forced to cover her face and is kidnapped by the cheiftains son and taken to trade for a girl he loves.
To fit the purposes of the Rp we'll have to stick the goa'uld in here somewhere.
SGC:
SG-4 and SG-5 are sent to this planet to explore it. They get there, save a boy from the dogs and are taken to the village. If there are females of course they have to change clothes (which are provided) and the players must figure out how to stop them from killing her right away. All the villagers are prim dummies that the GM talks thru via a ventriliquist script.
Meanwhile, a Goa'uld system lord and his Jaffa have crash landed on this planet and must find the stargate to get them home. The Jaffa players must try to find the stargate, but stumble upon an artifact in the village and decide to steal it and bring it back.
Meanwhile, a female on the SG players side is kidnapped. They track her to this village. They may miss the Goa'uld/Jaffa players or they may find them there. Either way, they will learn of the stolen artifact and that the Goa'ulds are trying to find the stargate.
All of this stuff is based on players decisions tho..they may not even decide to go after the female who was kidnapped, although they prolly will..If they don't the GM just keeps going, and eventually they figure out the Goa'ulds were here, although they may have already gone by then.
So either they find the Goa'uld or they don't. They either recover the stolen artifact or they don't. The SG teams either win this particular scenario or they don't. If the Goa'uld take the artifact it gives them another helpful aid in the destruction of the Taur'i whatever the object is.
There may need to be two collaborating GM's. One for each side. Or maybe not..I'm just naming ideas right now.
Uniforms/Costumes will be provided.
If there is an enormous amount of ppl wanting to pay (ie more that 20) a sperate campaign in a different time frame may have to be started. Each mini campaign lasts around two to three weeks and builds on the last one.
Rank is decided by experience points and party leader nominations
The campaign could start anywhere. En Route to an alien planet (SG-1 You have a go!"

At the SGC ("Off world activation!"

That should satisfy some of you detail hungry people out there. At least for a day or so

Please post your comments and suggestions. SCRIPTERS: Yes, I do understand that some of this may not be able to be done like I explained it, but we'll work around the limitations.
