how can i get my first gold in sl

who can give me some camping chair links or something just like this. i'm new in sl, and need money, thanks a lot~

seriously, camping chairs simply aren't worth it. The payout is so low that you actually pay more for the electricity to camp for money than you would have spent for the same amount of L$ on the lindex. And i'm not talking about a "little bit more expensive" here.

I've tried camping chairs before. Maybe back before I joined they had some campsites with decent pay rates, but not now. If anything, you'd get better mileage out of starting off with Free Play ZYNGO machines and then moving onto such machines with larger payouts. I personally prefer the Variable-payout ZYNGO machines, though the Autoplay function on Numbo machines make them a good ZYNGO alternative. o.o

EDIT: Recently I've stumbled across a rather different form of camping that revolves around Coin Chuckers. They're a good deal of fun provided you can find one that Chucks out coins at a decent enough rate per hour and I've also made a couple of friends from this and recommending it to others. o.o

SL isn't like those other games you've played. While it is *possible* to start from nothing and make all your money in world, it is very, very difficult. Most people find it easier to buy $10 or $20 worth of linden dollars ($L) on the LindeX or XStreetSL currency exchanges.

If you are really determined to try it the hard way, some of the ways to make money are:

- money trees. Usually only good for avatars under 30 days old. Find a money tree and harvest it before someone else does.

- camping. Very low pay, very boooring. Most of your fellow campers are bots or away-from-keyboard users.

- jobs. Get a job as a stripper, an escort, or a DJ at a club. If you are a talented musician, you can build a following and make pretty good tips. If you are good with Photoshop, SL photography may earn you some cash.

- start a business. For this, you need content, and that means you need creative skills. All the clothes, buildings, vehicles, furniture, and animations you see in SL were made by someone. If you can do as well or better, you have a chance at making some significant money.

- be a landlord. This takes start up capital. Buy land, and either rent it out (with or without houses on it), or buy land and try to resell it at a profit. There are SIGNIFICANT risks in this, but the few who succeed are among the wealthiest residents of SL.

Remember that we are not talking "funny money" here, just game tokens. $L can be bought with real world currency...and they can also be SOLD for real money. If you figure out how to make a profit in SL, you can take more home each month than you pay out.

If you login and teleport to Kunark, and then run across Qeynos you will come to a mine guarded by Bug bears.

There is soooo much gold in there for a low level.

tp to Extreme and click the big turtle in the sky. He drops Turtle Tokens which are *free* you can use these tokens to play video poker and slot machines which pay out L$.

Also if you join the group you'll get announcement for freeplay events, during these events lots of L$ are given away.
