Another "SL..." game! :p
SLarkel is a dice game, based on the age old game of Farkel. Unlike Farkel though, SLarkel allows (optional) join fees (goes into a main $pot) and betting (wagers on the current round of play, awarded at the end of every round. However, free games are available (and the default setup). SLarkel allows 1-8 players, and others can join games in progress.
I consider SLarkel to be about 99.x% finished (I have plans for an additional mode of play but that will come about later). I'd love it if people swung by to try out a game and gave me feedback. I have 2 (or more) games setup on my land. There's a notecard giver with information (box with "?" on it).
Do a Search for Places (checkmark Mature) and search for "SLarkel" (or "boso").
I'll apologize up front for the sim's lag, LL's yet to fix whatever they borked a couple patches ago. :(

From: Vinny Demar how is your game different from greedy greedy? Beats me, I have no clue what "greedy greedy" is. Guess I'll have to try to find out what that is and where to see it. Suffice it to say, it's different in that it's from scratch and wasn't copied from anything in game that I was aware of. I'm a hermit, a super hermit at that. I have no clue what's in SL anymore, other than more lag.

Ahh found a "Greedy Greedy".
Pretty similar, based on Farkel as well.
Differences that I noticed, but didn't poke around Greedy Greedy too much.
GG's a lot better looking! I suck at texturing, admittedly.
SLarkel allows the players to configure the game (cost to join, bet costs, points to play to). GG appears to only allow the owner to alter $ issues, and limited player options for points.
SLarkel uses physical dice which adds a lot to randomized rolling imho. (my dice use two initializers so the initial toss is always dynamic per die.
SLarkel allows payouts every round (+ main pot at end), just main pot, or 100% free play (again, all up to the player's configuration).
SLarkel's "tax" (GG's "rake") is hardcoded, even the owner can't tweak it. GG's allows the owner to set it (0%-15%).
GG, apparently, allows users to pass on turns -- this could be exploited, imho, in wagering games. SLarkel will boot users immediately during "Ante" games (winnings per round) if they don't Ante up (else in free-play or main $pot only games users can miss 2-turns in a row without being booted (booted on 3rd missed turn in a row)).
Anywho, GG looks to be a great game. I didn't play it, cuz it demanded money to roll. :P So I don't know how it actually plays (browsed the help file to get an idea).
