Twin Harbors Game is the new 3D multiplayers strategy game inspired to the battleship game.
Two Teams, five Players each.
25600sqm sea game field.
Ships: Carrier, Battleship, Cruiser, Destroyer and Submarine for both Teams, all built with 1/8 ratio (the Carrier Enterprise CVN 65, called “Big E”, is 345mt RL, here it is 43mt).
The Player receives an HUD and a Tiny-Shape so he can live the game as if on a real ship, dressed in Navy clothes.
One Team’s Player is bestowed the title of Admiral of the Fleet, and will have to position 20 mines on game's field using the HUD. He will decide also the ships sequence in which the Fleet will leave the own harbour to reach the open sea. Once there, the ships will able to use their guns, with great graphic and sound effects both when shot, hit or miss the opponent ship or if passes on a mine. Imagine also that you play in mouselook! And each Team have its own chat channel to communicate moves, strategies, etc.
The goal: conquest the Opponent harbor leading your Fleet inside it.
The Winner : the Fleet that scores is the highest point total.
..."..remember guys, this is a strategy game!... you will need to be compact.. decide what's your Fleet's strategy.. and then watch and assist each other your fellows during all the game.. ...the Unity make Stronger.."....
A Fleet can collect points with the seconds saved on each ship’s turn or if hit an Opponent’s ship, and in some other cases too, but will loose points as well under certain circumstances, for example if shots but miss Opponent’s ship. There are also bonus points a Fleet can earn, so the game is full of opportunity.
Skip your turn to one of your fellows if u see him in a good position to shot Opponent's ship..
This game has been thought for Second Life so the game's system is also able to manage a player’s crash without stopping the game or wasting Fleets's position in the game.
.... "I'd like to see this game as an opportunity for SL’s Residents to meet and play together in a Team oriented goal. They can practice on what it means to face different opinions and challenges. They will have to share experiences with their fellow Players, helping the less expert to understand what to do and when, in the different scenarios the game will present." ....
.... "A strategy game is not only a game, but an opportunity to coach our mind; as well as playing with others is the seed to live with others...".....
Make your own Team and try your new challenge on the sea.
