I'm a little confused about this. I want to buy 2 or 3 zyngo machines to put on my property (perhaps more if they become popular) and I've seen stores in SL that are selling used Zyngo machines for usually around $1750. The price of a Zyngo machine from the creator is $2495 and I would like to save the extra money, but I'm worried that these used machines won't allow me to have the license or whatever.
On xstreet sl, the page for Zyngo says:
"IMPORTANT: the purchaser must be the first person to rez this purchase. The assigned license is applied at first rez."
So does this mean that even though the zyngo machines allow for a transfer, you can't really buy them from another person and get them to work? Has anyone had success buying zyngo machines from a vendor at one of these "game sales" places?
Please let me know...

The difference between a new machien and a used machine is about $3 US. If you're going to make a serious investment, why not just spring for the new machine, since the scripter is probably not going to be willing to support a used machine anyway.

beware of used anything in sl that is scripted. you never know what malicous person might have stashed in there. but you can check with aargle, the creator, for authorized resellers if you really need to save a few bucks. there is a list.

Whatever you do, make sure you swab them down good with bleach before you set them up.

By the time you all started replying to this, I had already found the creator's list of authorized resellers and purchased one. But thanks anyway!

Safer and all around better to get the game from an official vendor rather than used. There are cloning issues in SL and scams so be highly cautious when buying a used game. wouldnt take much for someone to slip in a script to swipe money in some obscure prim of a game. I would check the scripts in any used game to make sure they are all by the creator of the game. My store for example only has official vendors from dozens of game makers all over Second Life. New not used. I am one of the few places that work direct with game makers. From: Stoney Cyberstar I'm a little confused about this.
