Hi all. I've started an in-world games webring called (creatively enough) GameRing.

Osprey did a bit of a writeup about it here:
http://slgames.wordpress.com/2007/06/19/gamering/

At Navora you can see the 'classic' ring as well as a ring designed for a modern/cyberpunk setting (inside an old TV). If anyone running a game here is keen to join the ring, buzz me here with questions, or in game.

I hope we can get a bit more of a community going in-game and help each other out. If we work together a bit, we'll all benefit, and so will our players!

The GameRing Expands! Participating games include:

- Tir A Slan
- Combat Cards
- DarkLife
- NeoRealms

To come, Wasteland, Samurai Island, Midgar, Midian City.

You can buy a personal games catalogue from the unit and put it up in your house or wherever and get regular updates to the games list as the number of members grows!

I gotta hand it to you, Pirate, congratulations on a job well done. This is a great resource! Outside of the DCS home, which has a great wall o'sims, you're basically left to tp in and blunder around blindly, searching for RP info.
I visited a LARP place the other day...with a big, blank wall of empty notecard vendors. I can only urge the owners of RP sims to hop aboard this venture...and let people know about some of the amazing vistas out there.
Thanks, again, Pirate...and I hope this becomes a great success.

Thanks for the compliment!

I also have personal catalogues available. Just pay the machine $1 when you've got the GameRing poster up and you can get a personal catalogue to take away with you and put up on your land or in your house.

It's been good fun to get going. I have more people lined up - just getting art assets organised.

It's good to help each other like this. Most of our players won't hunt out games on the web (or even in SL), so putting it up front and in their face is a good way to encourage their curiosity!
