Every 30 minutes, day and night, a cow in the middle of a field in Gunda starts a game of word scramble.

A topic is picked at random and twenty words or phrases are picked at random from a list of words or phrases in that topic. Each phrase is "scrambled" (turned into an anagram) and it is the job of each contestant to unscramble the phrase and say it aloud before anyone else.

It currently costs L$20 to play each game: you pay the cow when it asks for money at the start of the game. The sum of the entrance fees paid by all of the contestants is divided equally between each question and used as prize money. If you play on your own, you will win your money back; if you play with others, you might win money from them or lose it to them.

If you're fed up of bingo, tringo, slingo and rate-a-thons, please come along to Gunda and play an edifying game of word scramble with my logophile Friesian.
