Backgammon Board

Since the last 4 weeks i never saw a Backgammon-Board in SL.

Thats why we made a own Board. Me and a Friend build it so, that it is usable in Casinos.

We place the boards at my Beach Club, because it fits perfectly into a tropical scene.
Now we need some players for betatesting.

Let me know your opinion about it.

Use the ingame "Find Places" option and search for the key word "Backgammon".
Its the "Beach Club" result.

Is the offer still open? I just read the post, and would be interested in helping you to test your backgammon game. I'm usually ingame most evenings, look for me and TP me over to the beach!

I'll probably have some time for Backgammon as well.

I created today a new group called "Swapps Backgammon Club".

It will be easier to find other players to play when you join the Group and ask in Chat for an opponent.

I hope some people will join *smile*.

Swapps---free as in a board that I could put out on my land? That would be great, as I offer a few games for new people to play when they come visit my money tree. Would be more than willing to mention your beach for them to visit. If I've misunderstood your offer, just let me know.

In version V1.08 i inserted also a creator-fee ...

Hi Swapps, I tried buying it at your beach place but wasn't able to. I spent 250 and never received it in my inventory.

Hi Ingrid.. you can only buy things which are available to buy.
The board you payed is for playing .. not to buy!

Pay my vendor to buy it! ... not the board.
Paying a empty backgammonboard means you set up a gamefee. Your opponent have to pay the same fee to join into a game with you. Maybe i should add a payback option if no one join your game. I will fix this in the next version

BTW:
If a item is possible to buy this will announced at the description (mouse over).

When i come ingame next time i will try to contact you too pay it back.

Hey Swapps

I bought your backgammon board and I notice sometimes when clicking on the die that if they are not clicked in a certain place that only one of them rolls. Has this happened with anyone else? Will this be fixed in the next version?

Two possible reasons:

1. You diced the same points again ... there is no new "dicepoint"-texture needed.. thats why the old texture stays at this dice.

2. Lag! It can happen sometimes, that your client need some time to load the actual dicepoint-texture. It seems as the dices are not changed... but you can move the stones with the new diced values.
