Giant Snail Racing 3rd Aniversary

Hello hope this fits in the part of the forum. Though I list Giant Snail Racing in the sports section of the events. Just thought I'd pop in and say the very Last Saturday this month will mark the 3rd year of snail racing. We've come a long way and want to celebrate there will be extra cash in prizes.

Also a whole new snail race track so that should level the playing field again. We've been having the same 2 or 3 snails winning most of the money for 6 months because they just know the course the best.

You can watch the Archived snail races at http://slcn.tv in the sports section they have been filming the races since last July.

We usually only get around 15 to 25 avatars per event but that's OK when we get much more it really turns into a long slow snail race and thats OK too. When life gives you lag have a snail race.

The races are every Saturday morning at 11:00 AM I teach an orientation class at 9:30 am that you need to take before I can let you race.
Hopefully this new course wont be so complex that that will be necessary to teach a class on how to find your way through it. I have a pro builder Random Cole helping this time so It should be thing of beauty as well. We use Siefiant Surfaces flinging scripts to launch the 15 meter tall snails around the track.

Also have the only stands that actually follow the snails
So you can cheer your favorite snail on.

We run at least 2 races per Saturday an amature race for first timers and snails that haven't won enough races to be considered seasoned snails, Then the pro race for the well seasoned super speedy snails.

If you can't get into the sim remmeber you can always set your parcel to http://streams.slcn.tv/live.mov and watch it almost live as it happens with about a 30 second delay I call in on the phone and help Wiz Nordberg with the commentary along with a few of the seasoned snails with silly English accents.

Oh and after the races we all head over the the Escargot Geants Racing club at PAConsulting 2 to watch the replay. Also all the races are on the remote control there so you can watch them there anytime.
