Hi, all I'm kinda new in the forums and I was wondering the next:

Are there any specific games you would like/love to see in SL?

Nethack! It would totally be possible to map the game to a small grid of cells on a HUD that update via some kind of telnet proxy to a regular nethack server. I dreamed of doing it once but it seems like too much work.

Tomb Raider. But I think the way animations and collisions work would be to good. But I bet it could be worked around, not sure it is worth the work though. If it was turned into a sort of treasure hunt game it may work to get folks to tell their friends and draw fans to a sim!

Speaking for the Victorian set, a few period card games would be terrific. We already have a Caledon Whist league, but wouldn't mind another version of that game. It can be hard to find a foursome, so Ecarte would also be terrific.

I'm trying to imagine Pope Joan without betting, but I imagine it could be done on a point system. That would allow for any number to play.

Remember the game where you enter the explosive payload size, shell charge and angle and take turns at dropping shells over a mpuntain on your opposition. Or you had the option to move your Artillery pieces a limited distance.

Chess. But like Alice in Wonderland or Harry Potter...played with full size, intelligent pieces. Explosions and fire and death.

Ping Pong. Hey, we could have explosions here too...have the ball blow up at random intervals. Game over!

Pool. We have this already, but you could add an exploding 8 ball...

(Sorry. I seem to have Hollywood action movies on the brain today.)

Oh better don't ask an american, they just like to pick up the ball and run, as if it were handball or something. They tell me it is in their rulebook, just says how far they go to cheat :/
