I'm fairly new to SL and i'm just wondering the scope of what kind of games you can make. Typical constraints like players, lag, programming seem to be a problem.

I'd like to make a turn based game for 1-6 players. I wonder however, if inventory items could be dragged from the inventory onto the playing field while still maintaining the no transfer/modify attribute. Also if you can make prims have animations.

I know this is pretty vague but any help would be appreciated. I'll go into more detail when i finish the concepts, Builders and Programmers needed.

Prims can do basic movements. For example, you could have a chess board where the pieces move themselves. They can also rotate, and physical objects can fly at high speeds.

Bowling has been done, but it's difficult. Shooting and knife-throwing games have been done. Most any board game or card game can be done. Lunar Lander is one of my favorite games - it involves piloting a vehicle.

I think there are lots of possible ideas to work with, but it is quite different from a programming perspective.
