The Isle of Kratas: Cyber-Fantasy Roleplay is a new sim built but a hundred years in the future on a small man made island in the pacific ocean.
Owned by the corporations it is supposed to be a utopia. That is until something happened 50 years ago that cracked the island into 3 parts. Reports said it was eco-terrorists that didn't want to see a man made island. But the truth is something else.
The world is not all what the normal person sees as there are half-human mages, vampires, lycanthropes around. And some of them have found the Island sits on top of an old site of power.
Corporate, political intrigue and everything else awaits on a free form roleplay sim. Kratas is rated as an adult/mature sim where adults can play as adults. The RP council is hard at work getting storyline hooks made up for long term storylines that will engulf every aspect of the sim.
There are already many factions designed on the sim from the afformentioned mages, vampires and lycanthropes, to a hospital, goverment entity, and more.
The sim is open to new factions being submitted and is openingly looking for people who would want to play Aliens, Goverment Agents, and general miscreants of society.
What the sim offers:
*Fantasy based roleplay in a cyberpunk based environment. Magic, cyberware and guns.
*Adult situations including Kidnap Roleplay and BDSM are allowed, if not a bit encouraged.
*Freeform roleplay with few In Character Rules, and general common sense Out of Character Rules.
*A robust sim with no mall, and very few vendors, even with weather effects a lag free setting.
*Nods given to classic World of Darkness, Shadowrun, Cyberpunk 2020, Dark Conspiracy and other similar roleplaying games.
RPS 2.0 Roleplaying Meter/Hud in use.
*Kratas is a partner sim with the BNJRPS system, using it's new 2.0 model that emphasizes roleplay over combat.
*Combat is but a tool for some roleplay (gang wars, cops and robbers) but is not the only thing. Kratas is not an FPS based sim. RPS 2.0 supports this by having a skill based system including disguise, investigation, engineering and more.
