Does anyone know if there's an RP based on Firefly or Serenity. Loved the story and concept so much just wondering if it's out there or is anyone interested in seeing that?

yes.... i saw it in search places this past Sunday. But it was only 1 small place and it looked to be a combat area (Reavers vs the crew of Serenity).

And as far as the Serenity goes, the Aubretec Osprey has a remarkable resemblence to a Firefly class freighter.

[edit] The location in search is called "Miranda crash site". The advertisement picture's details are not very good, but it looks like the Miranda Science station building from that episode of Serenity in which the Alliance tried to alter a planet's population to make them more "compliant" and they became like reavers, and some of the crew were killed off.

Yes, there is! It's a place called Washburne (aka Washtown) located in the sim of Burnet. It's the crappy town where Wash is a hero.

They hold regular RP nights on Sundays among other things. They even have a full scale replica of the Firefly vessel Serenity.

I'll send you the landmark in a bit. Check it out, it's a friendly place!

Sort of a bump... but mostly to say that in true Browncoat spirit, people are building onto Washtown and role play is happening because everybody wants it to happen. Everyone interested should drop by and watch the impossible be done again.

I've been visiting Washburne since it started abuilding, and it gets better every time. Nice place, friendly people. Nice Firefly parked on the landing pad. All very in-tune and realistic.

Last time I went I brought my Osprey along, and woo-hoo was that fun!

Can you believe that show was cancelled? Some money man out there must be going "DOH!"
