District 13 is a Survival/Horror Roleplay Sim, its fairly new and we are new ourselves to running a RP sim but saying that we are giving it our best. The sim is a former city (some empty spots which are still been filled in, due to us renting out land etc) which has been destroyed, also plagued with the undead which roam around. I'm not the best at wording things so I'm trying to keep this post as simple and short as can be so people can get the jest of it and if its somthing you'd be interested in, head over to the sim 'District 13'.
We are looking for more roleplayers new and old to come join us, people can do pretty well anything here in the forms of making groups, renting land/properties, building a home, combat, fresh rp encounters etc.
We use the DCS2 system.

District 13 Backstory:
In 2001, "Sirus Development Corp." conducted underground DNA experiment programs. The developers and the details behind the projects are shrouded in mysteries.
A few years later, S.D.C. climbed NASDAQ's economic graph. Foreign investors poured their funds to mass produce a product called "stim pack". It enhanced regeneration along with all phyiscal and mental attributes; temporarily producing a super soldier. The chemical agent was injected with a disposable syringe, or taken as a pill. Best of all, there we no known side effects. Within short time, the product (which was only available in the United States) gained publicity worldwide.
The U.N. advised the congress to prohibit the adoption of stim packs, but Considering the threat level of a warfare, the U.S Military and the NSA signed endorsement contracts (with the S.D.C.) to administer the stim packs via all divisions.
...3 days later, they were shipped and distributed to allied troops overseas...
The world is now decimated by a nuclear warfare. The once existing powers of political and diplomatic factions are no more and undisclosed. What's only known are the types of chemical, nuclear, and biological weapons that annihilated humanity. Survivors have scattered all over the world in ruins that were once called "Cities". While mankind fights to rebuild, an unexpected drawback from the war rages under the surface. Bodies were brought back from the dead through an unknown cause of mutation. They rose to the surface, numbers growing. The infection was easily spread amongst the survivors. Many denied the possibility and brushed it off as a fabricated hollywood fiction. Now they face the grim reality and grasp onto every warning for their very survival.
Prior to the destruction of District 13, The area was operated by the "Grid Army" as a special military training facility. Most of the former inhabitants were killed by the intense radiation. Infact, the amount of weapons have outlived the humans that once brought them here. Throughout time, various weapons have been recovered from the ruins and are now put to use against the horde of undead.
Humans reside on the surface levels. Living in destroyed and abandoned buildings trying to rebuild their lives. Wanderers pass through in hope to find a place to nurture what little hope is left. All official forms of government have ceased to exist and survivors fight over what little resources are left. Nontheless, people have begun to organize themselves in loose groups for protection and rudimentary structures of civilization are being brought back by the ones that have accepted their fate. They cling to the memories of a time that will never return...
