Hello all, I'd like to present a new SL-game. It's an adventure game where a group of players (pursuers) should look for a runaway through the SL-world. DOGONI. Game description: There is one runaway and some (up to 20) pursuers. Participants register in kiosk independently and do not know the names of each other. Each player pays fixed sum (L$10, L$20 etc.). The length of game is fixed (30min, 1 hour etc.). All players get a beacon to wear it on shoulder during the game. A pursuer clicks on his beacon to open the map with "last seen" position of the runaway. The aim of pursuers is to find the runaway and to discover his name. Than pursuer checks the name of runaway in kiosk. If the name is correct the pursuer wins 70% of prize pot. Else, if the runaway wasn't found during game time he wins 70%. there is one problem i see with dogoni, when i want to play with my friends. i would say, "let's play, i will set up a game where i am the hunted, and you all have to find me." but to "win" the game, all the pursuers have to know is the name of the hunted -- which they already do, if we agree to set it up this way!
would it be possible to only "win" if the pursuer can catch up to the hunted and click his shoulder ball? and then the hunted's ball can see how close the pursuer is, and if close enough, then the pursuer wins?
otherwise, it is hard to set up group games that are organized.

otherwise, it is hard to set up group games that are organized. I'm working now on the next variant of the game and it will be ready soon. Maybe it will have another name, but the idea of it is nearly as you explained: the pursuer should touch the runaway's ball and this way to finish the game. There are still some open questions in this case, but they will be solved soon. Maybe this new game will be restricted to one SIM. And as for DOGOINI, it is more a sort of game to "pursue" as for "catch". That's why it's global and you never know who else participate in the game. Even if you and your friends register in the same kiosk you can be involved in different games (games with different game-numbers).

I'm sorry, i do not know exactly what you mean, I just can explaing how it works by DOGONI: when you register in the game your SL-ID and name are stored in DB and assigned to a game. When the game is over these data are used to pay the prise-money. The data are not used for any other purpose. Maybe later I could publich game statistics based in the DB-data.

Here you can play together with your friends! To win a pursuer should click on the shoulder ball of the runaway.
