Why couldn't your second life be a double life? Join the SL Spy Network and live out your fantasies of secret meetings in dark places, assassinating enemies and collecting/passing information all while not being captured, exposed or killed. SLSN is a role playing game for those looking to add a little intrigue and adventure into their second life.
You could be the quiet little guy, who noone knows, or the owner of the largest Casino in SL wanting to lead a double life, anything is possible.
SNSL is played in teams. Each new initiate is place on a team of "trusted" individuals whom they will work with against other teams. While it is imperative that teams form trust in one another, there is always the possibility that someone among you is a double agent so be careful and never take anything at face value.
Every game has rules and while the more practical rules will be explained during orientation there are a few brief points that need to be made.
1. This is not a Griefer Game, anyone conducting activites related to this game against any non-combatants will be banned for life from the organization. There are no warnings, it will not be tolerated.
2. This is not a Griefer Game, anyone conducting activites related to this game against any non-combatants will be banned for life from the organization. There are no warnings, it will not be tolerated.
3. This is a game of treachery and lies concealed as truth, trust no one, especially anyone outside of the Spy Network. This includes friends, family... anyone. No one is to know you are in the network.
Recruiting is not your job. The more friends you try to bring in the network, the more your stock falls inside the network.
4. There are two types of scoring in each round of the game team points and individual points. Each mission will hold a point value based on level of difficulty, and time (the smaller the window, the more points available). Individual points will be awarded based on difficulty, time, creativity in solution and avoiding detection.
5. Individual and team points can also be lost by failing to complete a mission, refusing a mission, or a break down in security such as being captured or killed or revealing any secrets to any unauthorized person.
6. Missions will be assigned by either your handler or the Director, failure to complete a mission will result in your being placed on a hit list, which can make you a target of even your own team.
7. In that the true nature of being a spy is blending in with your environment, being a spy means that it is not your only source of entertainment in SL, as such, most missions require very little time but there are times when much more planning and execution time should be alotted. If you are unwilling or unable to commit to these times your team will suffer as will your rank in the spy network.
8. Remember a spy lives and breathes by his reputation, your reputation will be reflected in your individual scores and as your reputation rises so does your rank, bringing new roles and responsibilities.
