Anything but those! Haha. Don't get me wrong or anything.. both are great games. It just gets soo old when you look on the events page and see nothing but a tringo/slingo schedule. We need something new! =)

Slingo is just a ripoff of Tringo right? I don't play either but if there is no innovating aspect of SLingo it's better for the economy and your community if you buy the real thing.

SL-ingo is a completely different game that is a combinations of bingo & slots with a few differents twists. The leaders change quite a few times througout the game so no one knows who will win till the last roll.

I saw for the first time today tables to play Spades. You know...the card game. I don't know if you're interested in that but I think it would be great if more people had them and held tournaments. I'm so sick and tired of seeing slingo and tringo sling and tringo blah blah blah blah ooooh look theres a yard sale..followed by slingo and tringo oh yes..thats right some more slingo and tringo. *barf*

Slingo is a rip off of the game Slingo

I believe, or at least from what it sounds like...

Yea my mistake... I've been told SLINGO is not a Tringo ripoff. How bout a motion to never name games with "ingo" again?

I have recently purchased a set of 5 Spades tables which I have set out in the beer garden of my pub, The Hoad Inn in Ulverston (16,46). I used to play Spades in There and know how popular it was, so I'm hoping it will be here too. Unfortunately, my Spades area seems to be the victim of a rollback at the moment so is temporarily out of order until a local friendly Linden can sort me out. Once I'm back in business, watch out for my events in the listings (around 1-4 pm due to my UK location). :)

I've nothing against Tringo and also host games for it - as long as there is a demand, I'll continue to host. I do enjoy Slingo as well for a change. :D

Correct, SL-ngo is not a ripoff of Tringo, yet a ripoff of the patented game Slingo made by Slingo, Inc. and, ohhhh, does it irk me. (taints the whole concept behind retaining intellectual property in SL)

I like them both but if I had to pick one, it would be Slingo. I find it a little more relaxing then Tringo. But my hats off to the ones who created these games for us to do while socializing :) And any potential creators.

SL-ingo belongs to slingo.com - the SL version seems to be using Yahoo's graphics.
