Hello everybody,

I am trying to develop a sort of mini-game event in Second Life with as little scripting, building, and cost as possible. I need a game that will last a around an hour, allow cooperation, and hopefully be fun as well! The game size could be as small as 4 people or as large as 100, depending on how many volunteers I can find before my deadline is up.

I'm thinking of doing some kind of a scavenger hunt, where I first get a list of cool random structures built in-game, and then have the players either try to figure out the coordinates based on some kind of math riddles, or disperse clues to certain players, etc. For example, player1 could be given instructions that say "there is a giraffe at XYZ, find the spaceship" and player2 could be given instructions that say "there is a spaceship at ABC, find the giraffe."

Another idea I had was some kind of team-based hide and seek, but I haven't developed that at all. Or I was thinking of giving each player a "shopping list" and a limited supply of money, forcing players to combine lists and resources. What do you guys think?

This is till in the extremely early stages of planning (the actual event will happen sometime early July), but I wanted to listen to the thoughts of people with way more experience in SL than me. I appreciate any ideas you can throw at me!

Oh, and I suppose I should have this disclaimer: Unfortunately, I'm not looking for volunteers to actually participate in the event. It's for a project at work, and I have to select from a specific group of people. Sorry!
