Do YOU hate parceling off land in your private simulator?
Do YOU hate trying to align objects on the ground, but can't seem to get it right?
Do YOU hate the lack of tools game developers have access to?

Well, I have 3 custom textures that can solve those pesky problems!

The first texture will show the center of each texture as it is applied to your terrain, including 16 meter plot outlines, and even lines to indicate 1 meter increments!

The second texture only outlines the 16 meter plots and 1 meter increments.

The third only outlines the 16 meter plots only.

These textures were created by the SimCast Development Team to make it easier to align objects and terraform the land in our simulator. After using these textures, we felt that we should release them to all who wanted them.

Please feel free to IM me for your FREE copies!

Enjoy! Compliments of the SimCast Development Team :)

It might be a bit easier if you could just post up the keys of the textures...

hey Ya'all, Im happy people are liking these, lemme get these up here for people that can't meet in world. For refference it was just a 12x12 in photoshop, nothing too fancy but still a good texture to have for island owners. one texture has the 12m borders and a red circle to denote the center and edges of a terrain texture repeat, one has the 1 meter and 4 meter grid lines marked, and one has just the 4 meters marked. the 4 meter lines correlate to plots to help avoid ground ripping.

hope they help!

Just to clarify things, I apply the texture to the bottom set of estate textures. When you are done aligning everything and the terrafroming is complete, just simply swap out the alignment textures for your favorite land textures :)

Depending on your client settings, you may have to apply the texture to the top set of estate textures as well. From what I understand, one or the other set of textures are used depending on your slient settings.

Also note, if the texture appears flat gray, apply the original textures you had, and then try applying the alignment textures again. I have had this happen twice already in my sim. This is the quickest fix for this issue, and it works like a charm :)

I don't know if the keys would be helpful...

These need to be applied to the estate textures by dragging and dropping them onto the estate texture window...

Anyway, spider posted them as well for quick and easy downloading...

Enjoy!

We just added 3 new textures to the mix!

These are 128x128 low detail textures that can be applied to the top row of estate textures. So no matter what your client settings are set to, you can now use these very helpful alignment textures :)

Enjoy!
