Hi Dominus! I hope you are reading this. I have tried to contact you via IM in SL but to no avail. I am hoping you are reading this and can contact me to help me out.
I was in your store Imaginations yesterday, September 1, and paid your Trivia Treasure Chest 5500 Linden for the game (looks wonderful) but all I received was a *sample* bracelet- nothing else.

I pressed CTRL+ALT+T to ensure I hadn't been duped by a thief placing a transparent prim over yours and that was not the case. I'm thinking either the vendor was glitching or I accidentally paid the lower part of the chest and not the lid.

Please help! I just opened my club Power Plant and I need either the full Trivia Treasure Chest game or the 5500L returned.

I look forward to your reply either in SL or at buckbrentano@aol.com

Thank you.

Update to Dominus Skye and LL lack of customer support
09-07-2006 17:46
I just placed an object with a note i made into a texture to do everything I could think of to contact Dominus Skye regarding the payment of 5500L on September 1 for Trivia Treasure Chest but received a "sample" bracelet- not the item represented in his shop.

No sooner did I rezz the item in his shop but a "Sparkle Skye" (an alt avatar?) IM's me and says that Dominus has been trying to contact me. I'll spare you the run-around I got from her for the following 20 minutes. Safe to say, I left there with a GOOD FEELING that Dominus didn't try very hard to repond to my 5500L payment with nothing in return. I received NO EMAIL, NO IM, NO NOTECARD, and never noticed a problem getting these communications from other people.

AND HERE'S THE BEST PART:

I called Linden Labs and spoke with a surely "customer care" representative that went by the name "Lianna" that HUNG UP ON ME when I inquired the details of just what is entailed in an abuse report "invistigation". She said she "would not go into that with me".. and then CLICK!
THANK YOU LINDEN LABS! And if they censore this first hand experience I'm posting here it will prove that they care more about taking and preserving their PR and bank account then the paying customers like me. They will get a rude awakening if they do not come to the aid of a customer in preventing fraud and theft by doing all that they can do. It wouldn't look good in the media if the public found out that you can represent yourself or product as one thing, take peoples money and give them a WIDGET instead of what you represented. An open forum is healthy in keeping the feedback and experience of others available to prevent people from getting "taken" like I have. If LL censores this note it will be a clear indication that they care more about covering up the pitfalls in SL then creating a safe shopping environment that people must be accoutable for monetary transactions. What feedback does LL provide about personal experience and history of business vendors in SL if they censore messages like this one? All they say is, "buyer beware" but LL has not provided a system that we can judge for ourselves if we wish to send money to an anonymous avatar.

I'm really let down in the lack of implementation of a feedback system that works and their overt lack of interest when possible fraud/theft has occured to a paying, honest customer.
If LL does nothing it sends a clear message to EVERYBODY- just set up shop, represent wonderful items, take peoples money and give them some piece of nothing and then ignore all their communications. They sure will intercede for big business when they remind LL that there is fiscal damages when copywrite and registered intellectual property is misused in the Second Life environment.

I, and EVERYBODY, deserves the same consideration by LL that is given to corporations when LL is reminded of possible monetary damages incurred while hosted by LL. They do have a legal and ethical obligation.

Bottom line- I gave one of LL's avatar 5500L's and got nothing in return, LL has been notified and now it's time for LL to step up or risk losing an account.

update:
09-07-2006 23:56
It is 1:47 am and 7 days after the fact, with daily IM's to Dominus Skye with no refund, no product and no response to my pleadings- even though a "Sparkle Skye" (AV ALT?) IM'd me today while I was in his shop and stated that Dominus has received my IM's and that I should send her any messages.

5500 Linden out of my pocket to Dominus Skye, no response to my messages, and all I have to show for it is a bogus *sample* bracelet instead of the full Trivia Treasure Chest represented. I have made contact with me readily available but have received not one message from him. What more does he need from me to offer the product or a refund?

Will Linden Lab censore this sharing of experience out of fear that the dirty word of theft is going on in SL more then they would like us to know?

I want my money back.

Situation resolved to satisfaction.
It appears that Trivia Treasure Chest isn't as such but "*DOM..." in inventory file folders.

I am sorry this unfortunate situation occurred.
