The uncharted half of Rygeon is under control of the self-exiled Sorcerer King. The Vampric Darque Knights and the immortal Warriors the Devil’s Brides protect the Kingdom from threats.
At the moment groups are open enrollment and in need of officers and members. You can join any group you wish to role play as, attain the proper attire and/or avatar and ask the group Admin for your back story starter kit. You may also choose to be an officer of your group and agree to recruit and maintain your group. Each group can have up to three officers and two admins. As your group numbers increase your monthly power and financial rewards increase.
WEAPON OF CHOICE: (Groups are in the process of listing weapons of choice - updated information will be sent out to the Rygeon Update group very soon).
Each creature in Rygeon can put up a good fight. Be it by using the sword, a staft or magic. The official RP weapons for Rygeon can be found in the OOC Area Marketplace. The Death Dealer is SPELL FIRE. Once you choose your group you can obtain your weapon and life HUD at the SPELL FIRE TENT.
Your monthly reward comes in power points and the currency of Rygeon (Ryo). Ryo can be cashed in at the Rygeon RP Store (at the furthest end of the Marketplace) for clothing and accessories approved to be used in the role play of Rygeon. You may also exchange your Ryo for Lindens at times (when announced – see the group announcement board outside of the Rygeon Role Play Store). Ryo can also be used to pay a Scribe to write you a storyline that will become part of Rygeon’s history.
30 Day King’s Tax: The tax amount on the chart below is the total for the entire group (sample: a Clan of 15 would each pay 26L for the month to meet their 400L obligation to the King). It is the responsibility of group officers to collect all of the group tax for their group each month and pay it to their group admin. No group member will ever pay more than 38L a month to RP in Rygeon at these current rates. These funds are used to support the activities in the Storyteller Pub and future development Rygeon sims.

**RYGEON GROUPS**
The Centaurs of the Queen's Garden: Class 3
The Centaurs are the reincarnated royal warriors that fell in battle fighting for the Queen. The were granted status of being enchanted centaurs after death through the spell placed on them by the Queen of Rygeon ( a very powerful witch). These Centaurs live in the Queen’s Garden. Some are more powerful than others. The winged Centaurs can fly. All are powerful warriors. They protect travelers throughout the Realm. Join the open enrollment group The Centaur’s of the Queen’s Garden. Once you join the Officer of your group will give you your backstory starter kit.
Mountain Monks of Rygeon: Class 4
The Monks are well respected amongst all who live in the Realm of Rygeon. The Monks are the Lords of Battle. They teach warriors how to fight with honor. The Monks also run the battle practice area and the Death Dealer Weapon store in the Marketplace. The Monks are master questers and can supply you hints and maps.
The Devil's Brides: Class 1
The Immortal Female Warrior Clan that lives in a enchanted Castle in the clouds of Rygeon. The Brides tend an enchanted fire. This fire has burned before the dawn of man. If these women allow this fire to be extinguished they too will cease to exist. These women are violent warriors who fight to the death. They have a alliance with the Royal Vampires and fight for the Queen and the Rygeon Empire.
Mer Regence: Class 3
The Mermaids and Mermen that live in the waters surrounding Rygeon. Enchanted with shape shifter powers and the ability to dive deep to retrieve very magical and valuable crystals. Befriend a Mer and perhaps you can convince them to give you one of these crystals or dive to get one for you. You can sell this crystal for untold fortunes in the Marketplace or keep it to aide you in your battles.
Faery Dispera: Class 3
The tiny faeries that live in the Queen’s Enchanted Garden. These michevious creatures flutter around involving themselves in the Human’s daily affairs. The Faeries love to challenge other magical creatures to magic battles. Faeries horde their winnings in the Queen’s Garden. Some farmers like to sneak into the Garden and grab a few pieces of gold from time to time.
The Beserkers: Class 3
The Werewolves that live in a gothic village on the edge of the sea. These creatures are shape shifters and can take on human form. They maintain an uneasy truce with their neighbors the Vampires (because they know they could not win a battle with the Vampires and the Devil’s Brides). The Werewolves were always the henchmen of the original King of Rygeon (The Sorcerer – now in self-inflicted exile). They long for the day that the Sorcerer will return to his kingdom and use his mighty magical powers to take Rygeon back. These werewolves like to undermine the Vampires by raiding the Human Farms and stealing the Gainer Grass (Used to be fed to the Humans to make their blood richer for the Vampire feeding). The Vampires zealously protect the Human Bloodline of Rygeon and battle with the werewolves often.
Dead Warriors: Class 1
These are the remaining dead soldiers that the Sorcerer King bought out of their graves to fight the Vampires in the Great War of the Desert that split Rygeon into two parts. These ancient soldiers refuse to go back to their graves and choose to haunt the mausoleum in Dead Valley. They wander through villages and the marketplace seeking life, a good fight and a pint of ale.
The Darque Knights: Class 1
The Royal Vampire Clan. These noble undead warriors protect the Realm of Rygeon and were mainly responsible for the defeat and exile of the Sorcerer King. The Queen of Rygeon married the King of the Darque Knights – thus making the Realm of Rygeon extremely powerful.
The Coven of the Hand: Class 2
The Coven of Witches that the Queen of Rygeon is a member of. These witches have their lair under the Queen’s castle in the ruins of the original castle. These witches spend their time casting spells in the great desert and battling using magic. They seek power and position in the Queen’s Court.
Dragons of Rygeon: Class 3
The Dragons of Rygeon respond to riders of the Vampric bloodline. Vampires and dragons have a intertwined bloodline that span back centuries. The Dragon Caves are in the Vampric Kingdom well hidden from the curious.
The Sons & Daughters of Rygeon: Class 4
These are the farmers that live in the valley of Rygeon under the protection of the Queen and the Vampire Empire. These folks farm, quest and battle in the sword fighting arena. Their bloodlines are tracked by Vampire clans who feed off certain bloodlines. This symbiotic relationship has existed for centuries in Rygeon. The Humans go to the Black Dragon Pub for the Vampires to feed and in exchange they are protected from powerful enchanted and magical creatures that threaten their existence. The Humans grow and use Gainer grass as part of their diet in order to make their bloodlines richer so the Vampires can feed efficiently.
The Elvin Clan of the 7th Rhine: Class 3
These Tiny Elves reside in the Queen’s Garden. Like the Fairies they love to horde gold pieces and cause mischief. They are well versed story tellers and can often be found in the storyteller pub weaving a tale from the history of Rygeon. Beware their little traps through-out the realm. If they snare you, you will eventually be able to break free but its sometimes easier to just give them a gold piece and be set free.
The Furry Seeker Clan of Rygeon: Class 4
These fur covered adventure seekers are always looking for lost Rygeon ancient treasure, rare magic and anything that will stir up trouble in the Kingdom of Rygeon. They are excellent map makers. Some have been appointed as Royal Scribes by the Queen of Rygeon. They keep the folklore of Rygeon in huge volumes on the second floor of the Storyteller Pub. Most hire a Furry Seeker to document their Rygeon stories. Once you join the Officer of your group will give you your Rygeon backstory starter kit.
The Coven of Rygeon's Dark Doctrine: Class 2
The Sorceror King - who is now the former King of Rygeon in self inflicted exile - studied and taught the Left Hand of Magic to young Covens throught the Realm of Rygeon. When the battle between the Dark Sorcerer and the Witch Queen raged, a group of sorcerers and sorceresses declared allegiance to the Dark Sorcerer. They chose the path of personal power and faction allegience. The mages of the Dark Doctrine Coven serve the Left Hand Path of magic. Their headquarters is located above the waters near the fire fountain. For more infomation contact Eecho Rotaru.
