I have been shopping around looking at Merchant Space in various malls to see what the average costs are. What I found was astonishing!! There is no “average cost!” Prices range from $2.50 L to over $8.00 L Per Prim! So, I started looking at traffic figuring this was determining the rates. RARELY did it do that. There are Malls out there with traffic UNDER 200, even under 150 and getting $6.50 L and more Per Prim! That is INSANE!
Granted, our mall is somewhat new and traffic averages around 400 but I’ve seen it over 2,000 on the weekends. After seeing how others randomly price their merchant space I’ve decided to price ours with some kind of basis behind it! So, here goes!
We are New, traffic fairly low to medium. With that in mind, I have set the following rates.
Single Spacious Stall with 50 Prims $2.00 Per Prim – Current Special $1.50 Per Prim Per Week
Single Spacious Stall with 100 Prims: $2.00 Per Prim – Current Special: $1.50 Per Prim Per Week
SUPER SAVER: Spacious Stall w/100 Prims $1.50 Per Prim – Pay a Month and get 2 Weeks FREE!! This is under $1.00 Per Prim!
Best of all, as a new and growing Mall, I think it only fair that I offer these low rates because our traffic is low and climbing. AND, any merchant that signs on during our special will be helping us and WE WILL NOT FORGET THIS!
What that means is, if you get a 50 Prim Stall, no matter how high our traffic grows, you will keep that $1.50 Rate until August 31.st, 2009. After that, we will look at our traffic. If it is still low to medium, you get the same rate for another 3 months and I’ll even toss in a FREE Month for not working hard enough to build our traffic!!. If our traffic has grown substantially, because you helped us, your rate WILL NOT go over $3.00 Per Prim although all new merchants from that point will be paying $4 to 5 Per Prim! Your rate will NEVER go any higher than $3 Per Prim AS LONG AS YOU STAY!!
If you get a Spacious 100 Prim Stall, pay for a Month and get 2 FREE WEEKS Offer, that will stay in effect until August 31st, 2009. Then, depending on traffic, your rates will either stay at $1.50 Per prim or go to $2.50 Per Prim and NEVER GO ABOVE THAT RATE AS LONG AS YOU STAY! NEVER!!!
Merchant Cart Space:
30 Prim Cart: $60.00 L Per Week. - SPECIAL: $30.00 L Per Week While They Last
50 Prim Cart: $100 L Per Week – Special: $50.00 L Per Week While They Last
Cart Rates WILL INCREASE As Traffic Grows. However, Whatever You Pay For Now At This Ridiculously LOW RATE will remain as your price. So, pay for 3 Months now at $1 L Per Prim Per Week and if our rates got up $1. L in a Month, your rate stays the same! Buy 6 Months Now, same deal. If in 3 Months we have reached $3 L Per Prim, you are still paying $1.00 Per Prim! (1 Year Limit On Stall Reservation At Any One Time)
Ye’ Olde Medieval Shoppes IS NOT here to rake you across the coals!! We ARE NOT here to make big profits for ourselves. We are here to offer good merchants of good Theme Related Products a VERY GOOD RATE and to REMEMBER all those who were with us in the beginning and KEP THEIR RATE SUPER LOW! At the same time, we offer an easy to get around in Mall with a Mall Directory and Clear Visibility making EVERY MERCHANT accessible with ease! NOT a search and a maze when your potential customers get there!
However, if you want to continue paying $3, $4, $6 or MORE Per Prim Per Week elsewhere with little or no traffic, except of course the traffic generated by the merchants themselves checking on their products and stalls, GO FOR IT!
