Hello,

I'm developing a game in SL, which should be finished soon. I'm doing ok with actually making it, but I'm not quite sure how to 'roll it out'.

Can anyone offer me the wisdom of their experience so I don't make common mistakes?

I expect it to be a dispenser that gives a basic 'set' for free with copy rights so that they game can spread, and then newer sets for a small fee with only transfer rights. A skilled player with a free set could still beat an average player with a newer set, it's just that they have more interesting features.

I have other plans of distributing components seperately, but don't know if its a good 'business strategy'.

Any advice or recomendations of groups/places in SL to check out?

Thanks.

congrats!, youve already figured it out, the way to make a game popular is to get people to play it, free game gear is of course a good way to entice people to try the game. now you just have to make sure your games good enough for people to pay for later.
